Where Are They Now? Alumni Report
Interview with Chris Rogers, Berkshire Center
When did you leave CIP?
After completing a 3 year course from Mildred Elley Business School in 2007 I moved back to Florida.
What are you up to now?
I currently live in warm Florida, not far from Orlando! I am a full time employee at a 5 star resort called The Club at Hammock Beach. I currently live with my parents and I am the process of constructing our in-ground heated pool & hot tub in our backyard.
What are your hobbies?
Playing my Nintendo Wii, going to the beach, spending time with my family, spending time with my co-workers at my job (we get along very well), swimming, biking, and skimboarding during the summer time. I’ve visited the Disney theme parks a number of times, including Universal and absolutely love it! The weather does get cold but we don’t experience snow.
What accomplishments have you made since your time at CIP?
I increasingly learn to live independently, not only by living with roommates, but by being on my own.
If you could still have one part of CIP, what would it be?
More variety in my recreational trips during the weekend. More fun things to do!
What advice would you give current CIP students?
Making mistakes is a part of life. Not everything in life is perfect, especially yourself. Be grateful for who you are and why you are loved, be a positive person, smile and have fun!
Where do you see yourself in the future?
I eventually shall fall in love with the right woman to marry, continue my job and someday live in my own place.
