The core of the CIP Summer Program focuses primarily on social skills and life skills, and slightly less on career and academics. Given that the program is 2 weeks, the aim of the Summer Program is to get acclimated to the college campus, meet new people and have fun. Students get an introduction to CIP's curriculum such as Reframing, social thinking, health and wellness and life skills instruction such cooking and organization. There is no SAT prep and CIP's career program usually starts out by covering the basics like interviewing skills, developing resumes, community service and job searching.
